Living in the Moment

In this busy world, we often have the tendency to dwell on the past or worry about the future. However, when we do this, we are living in an illusion.

The true reality is that life is happening right here and now. And, if we want to truly experience life in all its glorious splendor, we need to learn to continually pull ourselves out of our illusions of past and future and come back into the present moment.

The kingdom of Heaven is right here, right now. Luxuriate in one glorious moment after another.

To remain present, rest in your being and keep coming back to your breath.

Make it a game to catch yourself when you lose your present-moment awareness, and snap back into the here and now.

Remember, it’s the journey not the destination that counts. Every moment is golden.

It only takes a moment to re-awaken. Just slow down, relax your gaze and feel the divine within.

Every moment is a new opportunity to experience love.

Enjoy the mini moments of awakening as they spontaneously occur throughout the day.

This our moment to shine like the sun. Now is our moment of salvation!

Below are inspirations that will help keep you in the here and now.

“My friend, let’s not think of tomorrow, but let’s enjoy
this fleeting moment of life.”
Omar Khayyam (1048-1131)

All we have is this precious moment,
sparkling like a jewel in the sun,
and melting like a snowflake in our hand.
Inspired by Francis Bacon (1561-1626)

“Our greatest experiences
are our quietest moments.”
Nietzcsche (1844-1900)

“Time is the moving image of eternity.”
Plato (428-348 B.C.)

“All my possessions for a moment in time.”
Queen Elizabeth on her deathbed in 1603
